Day 1

Travel from Cairo Airport at 10:20 AM and arrive at Madrid Barajas Airport at 2:30 PM. Check-in at the hotel and then head to the Banco de España building to take photos. Pass by Puerta de Alcalá and visit El Retiro Park. Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping on Gran Vía. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 2

A walking tour to the main landmarks of Madrid includes a visit to Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, passing by the Royal Palace of Madrid, entering the Cathedral de la Almudena, and going to the Temple of Debod, an Egyptian temple in Madrid. Enjoy free time for lunch, with the option to visit the Real Madrid Stadium for an additional cost. Then, spend leisure time shopping on Gran Vía before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Check out from the hotels in Madrid and head to Toledo by bus. Visit the historic city’s entrance, Bisagra Gate, and then proceed to Plaza Zocodover, the main square, before going to Mirador del Valle for a panoramic view of the city by bus. Enjoy free time for lunch. Travel to Granada in the evening, check into the hotel, and then take a free walking tour of the city center. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 4

A walking tour of the main landmarks of Granada includes Bib-Rambla, Calle Calderería, and Corral del Carbón. Then, head to Mirador de San Nicolás to admire the stunning views of the Granada mountains. Visit the Granada Mosque by bus, followed by a visit to the Alhambra Palace and the Nasrid Palaces. Afterward, explore the Albaicín neighborhood, once inhabited by Arabs and Gypsies, taking a tour around it. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 5

Check out from the hotels in Granada and head to the city of Cordoba. Visit the Cordoba Mosque, the Jewish Quarter, and the Roman Bridge by bus. Then, continue to Seville and check into the hotel. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore Seville. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 6

Head to Plaza de España, where you can optionally rent a boat to sail on the lake for an additional cost. Then, walk to the historic Alcázar of Seville and take a guided tour. Continue to the Santa Cruz neighborhood, where you can explore and enjoy some recommended restaurants. Next, visit the Metropol Parasol, the largest wooden structure in the world, and optionally enter for an additional fee. Enjoy free time to attend an optional Flamenco show for an additional cost. Return to the hotel to savor the beauty of Seville at night. Check out of the hotel in Seville.

Day 7

Check out from the hotel in Seville and travel to Lisbon. Check into the hotel via bus. Take a tour of Belem, visiting the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. Optionally, you can try tasting the famous Pastel de Nata pastry (not included in the trip cost). Pass by the 25 de Abril Bridge, reminiscent of the San Francisco Bridge in America. Enjoy free time for lunch. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 8

Take a walking tour to Marquis of Pombal Square and explore its private garden. Then, head to the city of Sintra and visit the famous Pena Palace, renowned for its beautiful colors, with a hike to reach it. Next, travel to the westernmost point of Europe on the Atlantic Ocean, Cabo da Roca. End the day in the affluent city of Cascais, where we can suggest some restaurants for dinner. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 9

Explore the Alfama neighborhood, wandering through its narrow streets and enjoying the beautiful views from Miradouro Santa Luzia. Then, descend to the historic square, Praça do Comércio. Next, head to Colombo Mall for shopping and lunch. Optionally, we can arrange some activities such as a river cruise. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Day 10

Wake up early and head to the airport from Lisbon to Madrid. Then, proceed from Madrid to Cairo.

Travel Conditions

The cost of return to the Spanish Embassy is approximately 2000 pounds.

Documents Required to Apply to the Spanish Embassy:

  1. The passport is valid for 6 months from the date of return from the trip, and must contain at least two blank pages. Bring copies of the original passport and any page containing previous stamps or visas.
  2. Two photos, 3.5 * 4.5, white background, clear features – mouth closed – without glasses.
  3. A bank statement for the last 6 months, which is extracted 2 or 3 days before the embassy’s appointment.
    • Employee/worker: A recent original HR Letter from the Human Resources Department, stamped and stating the date of appointment, position, salary, approval to travel, and social insurance registration number.
    • Employer: A valid commercial register and tax card (original, copy, and translation).
    • Student: Proof of enrollment from school or university.
  4. In the event that a Schengen, American, or England visa is not obtained on the current passport, a movement certificate must be brought from the Passport Complex in Abbasiya and it will be translated at the same place of extraction.
  5. In the case of submitting a family, the family registration and birth certificates of the children are submitted.
    • In the case of a minor (under 18 years of age) traveling without the company of one or both of his parents:
    • The approval is made and signed by the parents from their real estate registration office (the original is presented and translated in English or Spanish) or the parents are signed at the Spanish Embassy.
    • If the parents are outside Egypt, the approval for the minor children to travel must be signed at the embassy to which they are applied in this country.
  6. Travel insurance (a safety health insurance sticker is placed on the passport) from the Aman branch, its affiliated passport offices, or the passport complex in Abbasiya.
  7. All documents extracted in Arabic must be translated into English or Spanish.
  8. The original of all documents must be submitted.
  9. All submitted documents must be current and not exceed one month from the date of their extraction on the day of submission.
  10. The cost of the appointment and preparation of the application file is 2000 pounds, which is included in the down payment.

The cost of the visa is $106 per adult, paid in cash in dollars at the BLS, and $62 for children from 6 to 12 years old, free for children under 6 years old.

Visa procedures take from 15 to 45 days, subject to increase.

All documents submitted at the time of visa application cannot be retrieved again.

All visa applicants must be present at the BLS office, except for children under 12 years of age, who are not required to be present.
